On the production line, forging, spraying, and packaging are completed in one go; on the other side of the factory, with the assistance of an overhead crane, a batch of newly manufactured aluminum profiles are loaded onto trucks and shipped to various parts of the country. On November 16, this reporter saw a busy scene in the workshop during a visit to Baoji Longhengda Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd.
Baoji Longhengda's annual production of 50,000 tons of new aluminum profile processing project is an Investment attraction project signed in April 2020 by Meixian Economic Development Zone. The total investment of the project is 610 million yuan, and the production range includes high-end doors and windows, curtain walls, industrial aluminum profiles, thermal break aluminum profiles, civil aluminum profiles, aluminum rods, metal products, etc. The project is built in two phases. Currently, the first phase has been completed, absorbing 220 local people for employment. Currently, the project can produce more than 2,400 tons of aluminum alloy products per month.
According to Zhou Guangzhi, the relevant person in charge of the company, since the completion and commissioning of the Phase I project at the beginning of this year, about 50 to 100 tons of aluminum alloy products are shipped nationwide every day.
It is reported that in the second half of this year, in the face of rising Prices of raw materials and energy, which have had a considerable impact on the company's production and operation, the company's monthly production capacity once hovered around more than 1,000 tons. Faced with operational difficulties, the company has not waited or relied on others. On the one hand, company leaders led a team to visit leading companies in the industry to observe, learn, and exchange experiences. On the other hand, the company has increased its investment in technological innovation and the purchase of new equipment, allocating 15% of its annual output value to scientific research investment and equipment upgrades, to push production to a new level.
Currently, the company's research building has been capped, and the second-phase 20,000-square-meter standardized factory building is under construction. After the completion of the entire project in 2022, the annual output value is expected to reach 600 million yuan, achieving profits and taxes of 85 million yuan, and providing more than 500 jobs, becoming the largest aluminum profile processing enterprise in Northwest China.
