Chinalco International and Huai'an City jointly build a green aluminum application demonstration city

From November 16th to 19th, Wu Zhigang, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Chalco International, led a team to Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, to conduct market development and other work. They also held talks and exchanges with Chen Zhichang, Deputy Secretary of the Huai'an Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, on jointly building a green aluminum application demonstration city and strengthening cooperation between the two sides.
Chen Zhichang extended a warm welcome to the Chalco International delegation and, in conjunction with the "14th Five-Year Plan," discussed the economic and social development of Huai'an. He stated that Huai'an will closely follow General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important instructions on Jiangsu's work and his earnest entrustment to Huai'an to "build the hometown of Premier Zhou well, which is very symbolic." Huai'an aims to form an industrial cluster highland centered on the Jianghuai Eco-economic Zone, the Huaihe River Eco-economic Belt, the Grand Canal Cultural Belt, and the East Coast Air Freight Hub—a "one zone, two belts, one hub" strategy. He pointed out that Huai'an City sincerely welcomes Chalco International's participation in Huai'an's development and construction, especially hoping to accelerate the promotion of projects in aluminum application industry promotion and the green aluminum application demonstration city. Using "four ones" (one factory, one park, one center, one city) as the direction of cooperation, he hopes that both sides will strengthen communication and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
Wu Zhigang introduced the basic situation of Chalco Group and Chalco International, focusing on the advantages and Achievements of Chalco Group and Chalco International's aluminum application industry. He systematically introduced the specific connotation of the green aluminum application demonstration city proposed by Chalco International and expressed that Chalco International is willing to work with Huai'an City to jointly accelerate the construction of the green aluminum application demonstration city in Huai'an and introduce suitable local aluminum application industries to Huai'an. For the next step of cooperation between the two parties, the Huai'an Municipal Government and Chalco International have established a special working group. Chalco International will conduct market research on aluminum applications in and around Huai'an City in the near future, striving to achieve early project implementation and contribute to improving Huai'an's urban quality and upgrading industrial efficiency.
During their stay in Huai'an, the Chalco International delegation also visited Huai'an Guolian Group and conducted field inspections at the Huai'an City Planning Museum. Wang Xianghong, Deputy Mayor of Huai'an City; Wang Sujun, Secretary-General of the Huai'an Municipal Government; Gu Qiang, Deputy Secretary-General; Zheng Jianli, Chairman of Jiangsu Qingcheng Group; Xiong Bo, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Caring for the Next Generation Health and Sports Foundation; and heads of the Huai'an Municipal Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Qingjiangpu District, and Eco-tourism Zone participated in the symposium. Zhou Baiquan, specialist from Chalco International; and relevant personnel from the Market Development Department, Aluminum Application Company, and Zhongse Technology participated in the above activities.
